An illustration for teen depression in girls. This piece was done for this week's theme on The Artist's Challenge -see http://www.theartistchallenge.com. The theme, "A Belief that Possesses the Mind", had so very many possibilities, from politics, religion, spirituality, to the superstitious. Gail Allen was born and raised in Massachusetts; spending her formative years drawing and painting the surrounding farms and nature. After graduating from Paier School of Art, she spent many years in illustration, graphic design and art direction, in the New England area as she honed her fine art paintig skills.
