The Flow of Creativity metal print by Gail Allen. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

The Flow of Creativity is a symbolic representation of my views on the creation process. The central Geisha figure, with traditional thickly lined eyes, pale face and crimson red lipstick, rising out of the waters of creation, symbolically represents the artisan. Her dress is created from the rising water: a source of life, regeneration and birth. An artist develops talent similar to the Geisha's who are in training for many years, often in mysterious secrecy for a long period, working hours on traditional preparation and perseverance. The golden atmosphere surrounding the figure represents the energy flow or "zone" in the creation process. The circling, jumping fish are indicative of spiritual instrumentality in the development and manifestation of a thought into matter. The circle they create is a symbol of time without beginning or end, a continuous flowing succession of instants. The birds, flying white cranes, from the mouths of the fish are representative of thoughts being reveal...
About Gail Allen
Gail Allen was born and raised in Massachusetts; spending her formative years drawing and painting the surrounding farms and nature. After graduating from Paier School of Art, she spent many years in illustration, graphic design and art direction, in the New England area as she honed her fine art paintig skills. Along with the adventures and journey of raising three creative young men, she has also been involved in landscape design and painting murals, as well as constantly exhibiting her paintings. Her current works are a microcosm of her life's experiences; incorporating her love of nature and gardens, spirituality and symbolism.
